KreativeXpKids
is a premier drawing program for kids of all ages. This program was
developed by professional artists and educators renowned in their fields of expertise. Motivated by the richness and beauty the arts have instilled into their lives these experienced professionals are all related by an overriding desire to infuse our youth of today with a creative passion to build a vital relationship with the arts. We believe that this experience will assist our youth in living more fulfilling and meaningful lives rich in creative expression. To be well rounded educationally we strongly believe a person must develop creative skills and gain artistic knowledge. We know we are in good company in this belief when one of the most creative and brilliant scientists of all time, Albert Einstein has frequently stated that "imagination is more important than knowledge".
Kreativexpkids offers fine art classes for students 4 years to adult; this includes our weekly after-school art
program and Saturday workshops which will focus on developing the
student's artistic abilities. Students will be introduced to all artistic
mediums and will explore such topics as art history and drawing. Additionally they will be guided to develop the use of his or her senses to perceive the world in an
artistic way. They will examine elements of art and principles of
design in work of arts.
Skills and concepts covered include: Identification of primary
colors, lines through movement, overlapping shapes and the use of one
and two points perspective to show distance, background and foreground.
Our weekly pre-school art
program incorporates a unique drawing technique. This proven technique
helps to define motor skills. Other fun projects include clay, collage,
paint and papier mache classes. We also offer P.A.M. (parent and me)
classes to allow parents to create together with their little ones.
During school holidays and summer vacation we offer day camps.
Each
of these days are fill with fine arts and various art projects in the
studio. Activities are based on a central theme. Come and experience
this action packed fun fill day.
KreativeXpSeniors was created for our seniors and is offered in senior centers and assisted living facilities. This program was designed to help seniors find their independence in a creative expression
environment
through the use of art therapy. It is gears toward Alzheimers, Brain
Injury and most Disabilities. These skills often lead to a better
quality of life.
